Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and highly organised Senior Project Coordinator to oversee and coordinate the implementation of organisational projects. The successful candidate will provide leadership in project planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting while ensuring effective resource utilisation, stakeholder engagement, and timely delivery of project objectives.
The role requires a results-oriented professional with strong project management capabilities, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects and guide project teams towards achieving organisational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the coordination and implementation of multiple projects to ensure successful delivery within approved timelines and budgets.
Develop, review, and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, and implementation frameworks.
Monitor project performance against established objectives, milestones, deliverables, and key performance indicators.
Coordinate project teams, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective implementation.
Provide technical guidance and operational support to project officers and other project team members.
Identify project risks, assess potential challenges, and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
Oversee project documentation, reporting, and performance monitoring processes.
Prepare and present periodic project progress reports, analytical updates, and recommendations to management.
Monitor project expenditure, resource allocation, and budget utilisation in collaboration with the finance department.
Facilitate stakeholder meetings, project reviews, and implementation planning sessions.
Ensure compliance with organisational policies, contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and project standards.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend strategies to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
Support project evaluation, lessons-learned exercises, and continuous improvement initiatives.
