Key Performance Areas
Develop strategic plans and road maps for improving the businessclimate in Cape Town, making use of the City's corporate policy process where necessary and engage with corporate policy direction, outlining objectives, timelines and resource requirements.
Conduct thorough analysis using various analytical tools and methodologies to identify systemic issues hindering business-facing services' efficiency.
Plan, manage, monitor and evaluate specific activities to deliver the desired outputs and outcomes.
Foster strong relationships with internal teams, business communities, industry associations, and government agencies to collaborate effectively on business climate improvement initiatives.
Maximise the municipality's business senses and display a sound business understanding in applying the most effective management practices to achieve municipal financing goals and objectives.
Monitor the effectiveness of implemented initiatives, analyze data and feedback and prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on the performance of business climate improvements efforts.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes relevant to business climate improvement through ongoing research and learning activities.
Provide directorate level contract management support for assigned contracts as an appointed Contract Manager, in line with the Contract Management Framework and guide, City Policy, relevant legislative and as per delegated authority.
