Apply now to find out more. Duties: Preparing and managing financial reporting, including income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements. Managing accounting activities including journals, ledgers, trial balances and reconciliations. Supporting financial management and control within the business. Providing specialist advice on financial policies and procedures. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory and financial requirements. Identifying and mitigating financial and operational risks. Providing financial modelling input into business cases, costs and growth initiatives. Analysing financial data and preparing management reports. Investigating discrepancies, resolving issues and identifying errors. Engaging with senior management and internal stakeholders. Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) BCom Accounting BCom Honours / CTA CA(SA) Experience: Completed Articles 1-2 years' experience in a Senior Accountant/Senior Financial Accountant role. 4-6 years' accounting experience within the insurance sector. Strong knowledge of IFRS, Income Tax and VAT. Experience with fixed asset accounting. Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting systems. Proven experience in reconciliations, identifying errors and resolving financial issues. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and engage confidently with senior management. Comfortable operating within a complex, regulated and dynamic insurance environment.
