Overview
FMR Agency is recruiting a strategic and hands-on Finance & Accounts Manager for our client.
We are seeking an experienced finance professional who can take full ownership of the finance function and play a key role in supporting business growth and expansion. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-growing environment, strengthening financial systems, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting licensing requirements, and providing financial insight that drives business decisions.
Ultimately, you will build a strong financial foundation that enables sustainable growth while ensuring compliance, operational efficiency, and sound financial management.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the company's day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, financial statements, and cash flow reports.
• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements, including supporting licensing and business expansion activities.
• Strengthen internal financial controls, policies, and reporting processes.
• Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and working capital efficiently.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely regulatory reporting.
• Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to support management decisions.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team while driving continuous process improvement.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and support the organization's long-term growth strategy.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• ICAN (ACA) or ACCA certification is required.
• Minimum of 7–10 years' progressive finance and accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Proven experience leading the finance function within a growing organization.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, treasury management, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to establish financial controls, improve processes, and support business expansion initiatives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems.
• Strong leadership, commercial acumen, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
