• The Senior Executive - Business Development will support the company's restaurant expansion and property-management requirements. The role will be responsible for securing and renewing store-level licences, managing landlord relationships and rent obligations, and identifying suitable locations for new restaurants.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with relevant federal, state and local government authorities to obtain and renew operational licences, permits and approvals for all restaurants.
• Maintain an updated licence tracker, ensuring applications and renewals are completed before expiry.
• Coordinate inspections, documentation, statutory payments and follow-ups with regulatory agencies and approved consultants.
• Maintain proper physical and digital records of licences, approvals, receipts and supporting documents.
• Manage day-to-day communication with landlords, property managers and mall management teams.
• Maintain the rent schedule and coordinate invoices, internal approvals and timely rent payments with Finance.
• Support lease renewals, rent reviews and commercial negotiations to achieve sustainable rent-to-sales ratios.
• Track landlord obligations, lease conditions, escalation clauses, expiry dates and notice periods.
• Conduct market mapping and scout suitable sites for new KFC restaurants.
• Evaluate potential locations based on visibility, accessibility, traffic, demographics, competition, rent, infrastructure and sales potential.
• Coordinate site visits, preliminary commercial discussions, documentation and internal approval processes.
• Support lease documentation and ensure agreed commercial terms are accurately reflected.
• Provide weekly updates on licences, rent matters, landlord negotiations and the new site pipeline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Estate Management, Business Administration, Law or a related field.
• Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in business development, property, leasing or regulatory liaison, preferably within QSR, retail or hospitality.
• Good knowledge of Nigerian licensing authorities and commercial real estate practices.
• Strong negotiation, relationship management, documentation and follow up skills.
• High integrity, attention to detail and willingness to travel within Nigeria.
