Our client is looking for an experienced, hands-on Senior Business Systems Analyst / Systems Analyst to join their team in Oudtshoorn. This role is ideal for someone who understands business operations, has strong technical systems knowledge, and can identify practical ways to improve processes, reporting, and overall business efficiency. About the role: You will act as the link between business operations, management, and IT systems. Working closely with employees across all levels, including senior management and directors, you will analyse existing processes, support business systems, improve reporting, and recommend solutions that add value to the business. Must-have minimum requirements: Relevant qualification in Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, Business Analysis, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 5-10 years' relevant experience in business systems analysis, systems analysis, ERP coordination, or a similar role. Strong understanding of business processes, operational workflows, and business systems. Experience with ERP, inventory, operations, finance, reporting, CRM, or similar systems. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process-improvement skills. Experience documenting business requirements and working with technical teams and non-technical stakeholders. Strong Excel and general systems skills. Must be based in or willing to relocate to Oudtshoorn. Key Responsibilities: Analyse business processes and systems to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement. Gather, document, and translate business requirements into practical system solutions. Liaise with management, employees, IT teams, and external service providers. Improve system usage, reporting, data accuracy, and operational efficiency. Assist with system implementations, upgrades, testing, troubleshooting, and user training. Maintain process maps, system documentation, and user procedures. Provide recommendations to management on systems, processes, and business improvements. Advantageous: Experience in agriculture, manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, supply chain, or stock-driven environments. Exposure to ERP systems, Power BI, SQL, databases, dashboards, or system integrations. Experience in a small-to-medium-sized business with a hands-on working environment.
