Technical Competencies & Experience: Full accounts processing from source documents to trial balance, including cashbook, sales and purchase ledgers Maintaining the fixed asset register and processing monthly journals (depreciation, wages, accruals etc.) Reconciling all balance sheet items, including year-end journals VAT reconciliations and submissions Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts Assisting with drafting UK year-end financial statements, including the profit and loss statement, balance sheet and supporting working papers Ad hoc administrative duties as required by management Behavioural Competencies: Strong verbal and written communication skills Methodical, with good record-keeping abilities A team player who isn't afraid to show initiative, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Able to multitask and prioritise workload in real time Able to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines Please Note - Should you not hear back from us within the next 2 weeks, please consider your application as unsuccessful.
