Senior Artisan - An- Scale -kmtc 9

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: 

•  Cumulative service period of nine (9) years relevant work experience three (3) of which should have been as an Artisan I or in a comparable and equivalent position; 
•  Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D+ (Plus) or its equivalent qualification; 
• National Trade Test I Certificate in any of the following areas of specialization: Carpentry and Joinery, Turning and Fitting, Plumbing, Welding and Fabricating or its equivalent qualification from a recognised institution; 
• Proficiency in computer applications; and 
• Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and result.
