JOB PURPOSE:

  • The individual will be responsible for safeguarding critical infrastructure by supporting the implementation of security measures, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and organizational standards, and mitigating operational and security risks to protect people, assets, and business operations.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement security strategies, plans, and controls to protect employees, expatriates, contractors, company facilities, assets, information, and reputation from physical and technological threats.
  • Conduct and support security risk assessments, including threats from crime, organised crime, civil unrest, and other emerging risks, and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & CAREER EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous experience in security operations, preferably within a corporate, industrial, or multinational environment. 2-3 years working in the police service.
  • A B.Sc in criminology or a related field.
  • Sound knowledge of country-specific security operations, procedures, and risk management practices.
  • Strong skills in security planning, operational control, risk assessment, and problem-solving, with a results-oriented approach.
  • Demonstrated positive attitude, resilience, energy, and professionalism, with the ability to remain effective in high-pressure situations.
