Sand Blaster Job Vacancy Location: Boksburg, Gauteng Hourly Rate: R40.00 per hour Position Type: Permanent Job Purpose To prepare metal and other surfaces for painting, coating or further treatment by operating sandblasting equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring that all work meets the required quality standards. Key Responsibilities Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces. Remove rust, old paint, scale, dirt and other contaminants from metal surfaces. Prepare surfaces according to job specifications and quality requirements. Inspect completed work to ensure the required surface finish has been achieved. Maintain and clean sandblasting equipment, hoses, nozzles and related tools. Follow all workplace health and safety procedures. Wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE). Keep the work area clean and organised. Report equipment faults, safety concerns and any quality issues to the supervisor. Minimum Requirements Previous sandblasting experience will be an advantage. Knowledge of surface preparation and abrasive blasting techniques. Ability to follow instructions and work according to specifications. Physically fit and able to perform manual work. Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team. Willingness to comply with all health and safety requirements. Work Location Boksburg, Gauteng
