Sales Representative / Business Development Executive At Agricare Std Plus Ltd

Description

• We are seeking an experienced, energetic and result-oriented Sales Representative / Business Development Executive to drive sales, develop new markets and build strong relationships with poultry farmers, livestock producers, distributors, and other industry stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve assigned sales targets and grow revenue within the territory.
• Conduct regular visits to poultry and livestock farms, distributors and customers.
• Generate new customers and business opportunities.
• Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers.
• Promote poultry vaccines, feed additives, concentrates and related products.
• Provide basic technical/product information to customers.
• Organise and participate in farmers' seminars, product presentations, poultry shows, agricultural exhibitions and other promotional activities.
• Monitor competitors, market trends, pricing and customer needs.
• Follow up on orders, deliveries, payments and outstanding receivables.
• Prepare regular sales, market and field activity reports.

Requirements

• 4 - 5 years' relevant field sales/marketing experience in the poultry, livestock, veterinary pharmaceutical, feed or agro-allied industry.
• Good understanding of poultry production, farm operations and livestock business.
• Proven experience in field marketing and customer acquisition.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
• Willingness to travel extensively and visit different farms and customers.
• Must be proactive, energetic, disciplined and commercially minded.
• A valid driver's licence/driving ability will be an added advantage.

The ideal candidate:

• The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of the poultry/livestock industry and proven experience marketing and selling products such as:
• Poultry vaccines
• Feed additives
• Feed concentrates
• Animal health products
• Poultry feeds
• Other agro-allied/livestock products
• Candidates with backgrounds in Animal Science, Animal Nutrition, Veterinary Medicine, Agricultural Extension, Agriculture or related fields are encouraged to apply.
