IfeanHealth is a prosthetics and orthotics company focused on improving mobility, dignity, independence, and quality of life for people living with limb loss and other mobility challenges.

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team and help expand our reach, build strong relationships with healthcare professionals, and increase access to our prosthetic and orthotic solutions.

Job Summary

The Sales Representative will be responsible for generating business opportunities by visiting hospitals, clinics, healthcare professionals, and other relevant institutions.

The role involves building relationships with doctors, physiotherapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals who may refer patients requiring prosthetic and orthotic solutions.

The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in the field, meeting new people, making regular hospital visits, following up on leads, and working towards clearly defined sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation facilities, and other relevant healthcare institutions to introduce and promote IfeanHealth's products and services.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with doctors, physiotherapists, nurses, hospital administrators, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Identify potential patients who may require prosthetic and orthotic solutions through appropriate professional referrals.
  • Generate new leads and actively follow up on existing leads and referrals.
  • Educate healthcare professionals and potential customers on IfeanHealth's prosthetic and orthotic solutions.
  • Follow up with referred patients and ensure they are properly connected with the appropriate IfeanHealth team.
  • Work closely with Healthcare Specialists and other relevant teams to convert leads into paying patients.
  • Organise and participate in hospital visits, product demonstrations, awareness activities, campaigns, and outreach programmes.
  • Identify new hospitals, clinics, healthcare facilities, and potential referral partners within the assigned territory.
  • Maintain accurate records of hospital visits, leads, referrals, follow-ups, and sales activities.
  • Submit regular weekly and monthly sales and activity reports.
  • Monitor leads from initial contact through follow-up and conversion.
  • Meet and work towards agreed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Represent IfeanHealth professionally at hospitals, events, conferences, and other external engagements.
  • Work with the marketing team to support campaigns and initiatives that generate awareness and leads.
  • Carry out other sales and business development activities assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, HND, or relevant qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in sales, business development, healthcare sales, medical sales, or a related field is an advantage.
  • Experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment is an added advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to confidently approach and build relationships with healthcare professionals.
  • Strong persuasion, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage field activities effectively.
  • Must be target-driven and comfortable working with sales targets.
  • Good knowledge of the assigned territory and willingness to travel within the territory.
  • Ability to prepare basic reports using Microsoft Excel, Word, or similar tools.
  • Must be organised, proactive, and accountable.
  • Must be willing to spend a significant amount of time in the field.

Working Expectations

This is a field-based sales role. The Sales Representative is expected to spend substantial time visiting hospitals, meeting healthcare professionals, following up with leads, and developing new business opportunities.

The successful candidate must understand that the role is not limited to sitting in the office. Hospital visits, relationship building, lead generation, patient referrals, follow-up, and conversion are key parts of the job.
