Job Position: Risk & Internal Control Manager
Job Location: Lagos
- A Risk & Internal Control Manager role based in Lagos, Nigeria, for a professional with substantial experience in risk management, internal controls, internal audit or compliance.
- The position focuses on group-level risk assessment and governance, with responsibility for strengthening operational, procurement and inventory controls across project-based environments.
- Lead group-level risk assessment and governance activities.
- Develop, maintain and improve internal control frameworks covering operational, procurement and inventory processes.
- Assess controls in project-based environments and recommend practical improvements.
- Apply risk management and internal audit practices to support compliance and sound governance across the organisation.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration, risk management, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 7–10 years of relevant experience in risk management, internal controls, internal audit, or compliance
- Professional membership: ACA, ACCA, CIA, or CRMA
- Strong experience in operational controls, procurement controls, inventory management, and project-based environments
- Group-level risk assessment and governance expertise
- Based in Nigeria.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree or MBA
- Prior experience in the oil & gas servicing, EPC, engineering, manufacturing, or industrial services sector
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
