About the Role
We are looking for a driven Retail Store Manager to run the daily operations of our store.
You will lead your team, deliver an excellent customer experience, manage inventory, and hit sales targets in line with our goals in educational supplies, office, and lifestyle products.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily store operations and ensure company standards are met
Manage store layout, stock display, and visual presentation
Maintain proper stock levels, run regular stock checks, keep accurate records, and minimize stock loss
Work with the procurement team to keep the supply chain running smoothly
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual targets
Uphold high customer service standards and resolve complaints promptly and professionally
Supervise, train, and motivate Retail Sales Executives and Store Supervisor
Conduct performance reviews, identify training needs, and manage staff scheduling
Run in-store promotions with the marketing team and drive foot traffic through local marketing and community engagement
Analyze sales data, customer preferences, and market trends to improve product offerings
Requirements
Minimum of HND or B.Sc is required
4-5 years of proven retail management experience
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing customer engagement
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Solid knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, and visual merchandising
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Living within reasonable proximity to the store location (Gwarinpa)
