KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage Telesales, Counter Sales and Retail teams, expense controls, agreed targets and brand promotion.
  • Support development of the annual sales plan.
  • Implement sales/marketing plans for market-share growth, volume, profitability, revenue and brand objectives.
  • Lead the team in converting leads into sales.
  • Prepare product target forecasts using historical data, market trends, competitive activity, promotional strategy and sales effort.
  • Train/support the team to generate/respond to quality leads, follow up contacts, secure/renew orders, negotiate prices and close sales.
  • Identify new areas within the county for retail outlets, develop business plans around opportunities and manage established outlets.
  • Work with the Sales Head on client service, value delivery, efficiency/cost control, team sales budgets and resource management.
  • Monitor team performance through reports, communications, sales reports and cyclical sales meetings.
  • Stay current on products/competitors, customer analysis, feedback and market research.
  • Promote compliance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct in business development and sales.
  • Apply CRM and ERP software in the role.

KEY OUTPUTS / DELIVERABLES

  • Annual business-plan development and commercial planning.
  • Achievement of team sales targets/outcomes.
  • Customer retention, improved relationships and quality service to existing clientele.
  • Compliance with departmental processes and team-management routines.
  • Timely, accurate sales reporting for decision-making.
  • Establishment of a highly motivated Retail Team.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related subjects.
  • At least 6 years' sales experience in the manufacturing industry.

The role oversees the full performance of the region, ensuring alignment to our client Operating Standards across five core pillars: Revenue & Profit, People, Product, Brand Presentation, and Customer Experience.
