Our client, a fast growing fast food restaurant, is looking for a hands-on Restaurant Manager to manage the day to day operations of the restaurant and help scale the business.
This role is best suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, someone practical, proactive, and comfortable leading a team. The ideal candidate must be Kenyan have experience in the hospitality sector and is willing to relocate to Dare salaam.
Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure fast service, consistent food quality, and smooth workflow
Take full ownership of inventory management, including stock control, ordering, and minimizing waste
Monitor costs closely (food, labour, and supplies) and take action to improve efficiency and profitability
Recruit, train, schedule, and actively manage staff across front and back of house
Coordinate kitchen and service teams to avoid delays and improve speed of service
Step in wherever needed during peak hours and lead the team under pressure
Key Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Proven experience in fast food or high-volume restaurant operations, ideally in a supervisory or management role
Experience in a startup or growing business is highly preferred ability to build structure, adapt quickly, and take initiative
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and hold a team accountable
Solid understanding of inventory management, cost control, and daily operations
Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
