Job Summary

  • Our client is seeking a Resident Engineer who will be responsible for providing on-site network monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and technical support to ensure optimal network performance and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor network performance and resolve faults, latency, and service disruptions.
  • Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, CPEs, and other network equipment.
  • Troubleshoot fiber, microwave, wired, and wireless networks.
  • Liaise with the NOC and client's IT team to resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain network documentation, incident logs, and performance reports.

Requirements:

  • B.Sc/HND in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field.
  • 2 - 3 years' experience in an ISP, telecom, or enterprise network environment.
  • Knowledge of FTTH/FTTX, MPLS, VLANs, BGP, routing, switching, and fiber optics.
  • CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or MikroTik certification is an advantage.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer-service skills.
