Job Title: Relationship Manager – Retail Banking
Location: Lagos Job type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
Acquire new retail customers and grow the customer portfolio.
Promote banking products, including savings accounts, current accounts, fixed deposits, and consumer loans.
Drive deposit mobilisation, low-cost deposits, and transaction volumes.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to improve retention and satisfaction.
Identify customer needs and recommend suitable financial products and services.
Market retail loan products, support credit assessments, and monitor loan repayments.
Drive customer enrolment and active usage of digital banking platforms.
Monitor portfolio performance, identify business opportunities, and achieve assigned targets.
Ensure compliance with CBN regulations, KYC, AML, and other applicable requirements.
Maintain accurate customer records and submit periodic performance reports.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of five years’ experience in sales, preferably in banking or financial services.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Knowledge of retail banking products, deposit mobilisation, and consumer lending.
Strong sales, relationship management, communication, and customer service skills.
Results-driven, with good analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
Relevant professional certification is an added advantage.
