Relationship Manager Ãâ¢ã‚â€ã‚â“ Hni Banking

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire high-net-worth and affluent customers through prospecting, referrals, and strategic partnerships.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective HNI clients.
• Manage client relationships and provide personalised banking services.
• Understand clients' financial objectives and recommend suitable banking, savings, and investment products.
• Promote wealth management products, fixed-income products, investment plans, and treasury-related offerings.
• Mobilise large-value deposits and grow the bank's liabilities portfolio.
• Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships, improve retention, and increase relationship profitability.
• Monitor market trends and competitor offerings to identify new business opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with CBN regulations, KYC, AML/CFT, data protection requirements, and internal policies.
• Monitor portfolio performance, track business targets, and prepare periodic reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in relationship management, preferably within HNI banking, private banking, wealth management, or a related financial services area.
• Proven ability to acquire and manage high-net-worth clients and mobilise significant deposits.
• Knowledge of banking products, investment solutions, fixed-income products, and wealth management services.
• Strong relationship management, networking, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Excellent customer service, commercial awareness, and ability to meet business targets.
• Relevant professional certification is an added advantage.
