Registered Nurse I Ãâ¢ã‚â€ã‚â“ Expert Medical Opinion (oncology)

Key Responsibilities

• Educate members on healthcare options, benefits, and services.
• Support cancer diagnosis, treatment coordination, survivorship, and supportive care.
• Conduct clinical assessments, prioritise needs, and guide appropriate care.
• Refer members to specialists, expert medical opinions, and complex case management.
• Coordinate virtual primary care, diabetes management, physical therapy, behavioural health, and other programmes.
• Provide evidence-based health education and follow-up support.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with HIPAA and applicable privacy requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Requirements

• BSN or equivalent nursing qualification.
• Active, unrestricted RN license and active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) license or applicable eligibility.
• Minimum 3 years of recent direct patient care experience.
• Strong clinical assessment, triage, critical-thinking, communication, and digital skills.
• Oncology, telephonic triage, medical-surgical, maternity, emergency, behavioural health, or home healthcare experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical benefits, insurance claims, and care coordination advantageous.
