About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Executive to drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and promoting the company\'s engineering solutions. The role involves marketing our flow and level automation solutions, fuelling systems, pumps, dispensers, and related products and services to prospective and existing clients across various industries. The ideal candidate must have previous experience in the Oil, Gas & Mining Sector.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and achieve the sales volume/revenue goals as defined in the business plan
  • Generate & close leads by identifying potential clients, engaging prospects, presenting solutions, and finalizing deals to achieve sales targets.
  • Creating and sending proposals, quotes, and other sales documentation to clients.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing clients to foster trust and loyalty.
  • Maintaining accurate and organized records of sales activities, client interactions, and leads in the CRM system.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless communication, align sales strategies with business objectives, and provide comprehensive support for customer needs and service delivery.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing Team to ensure strategic marketing awareness and marketing initiatives across the region.
  • Developing initiatives to push sales and product awareness of the company's products and services.
  • Conduct regular market visits to check route coverage and availability of company products in the market, competitors' activities, and look for new business opportunities.
  • Attending industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility, network, and generate leads.
  • Coordinate with the OHS coordinator and investigate all reported incidents (near-misses and accidents).

Requirements

  • B.Sc. Or HND in any field
  • Minimum of 3 -5 years' sales experience in the oil and gas sector or B2B sales experience
  • Existing customer base in the relevant industry is an advantage.
  • Willing to travel around Northern Nigeria 40%
  • Must have very good knowledge of the Northern region.
  • Candidate must reside in Abuja
  • Must have a good understanding of Excel and other Microsoft Office packages
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety.
