Answer incoming switchboard calls politely and transfer them to the right staff member.
Welcome visitors, clients, and courier drivers with a warm smile at the front desk.
Scan daily documents, invoices, and delivery notes so they are saved on the computer.
Help with basic daily office admin like printing, photocopying, and neat filing.
Take clear telephone messages and make sure staff get them right away.
Receive and sort daily parcels, post, and courier deliveries at reception.
Keep the front reception desk and waiting area neat, clean, and tidy.
A completed Matric / Grade 12 certificate is essential.
Previous experience working as a receptionist or answering a busy office switchboard.
Basic experience with scanning documents and doing simple office filing.
A polite, friendly, and clear telephone voice when speaking to clients.
Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook email.
Good attention to detail when taking messages and saving scanned paperwork.
