Radiographer / Sonographer

MEV Specialist Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiographer / Sonographer to join our diagnostic imaging department. In this role, you will operate medical imaging equipment to produce clear, high-quality diagnostic images while prioritizing patient safety and care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures (X-ray, Ultrasound, CT scan, etc.) as ordered by clinical personnel.
• Prepare and position patients properly to ensure accurate diagnostic views and patient comfort.
• Strictly enforce radiation protection protocols (ALARA principle) for patients, staff, and yourself.
• Maintain, clean, and run quality assurance checks on all radiological equipment.
• Process, manage, and archiving digital diagnostic images (PACS/DICOM systems) and maintain precise medical records.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Radiography / Medical Radiography or equivalent Diploma in X-Ray Technology.
• Licensure: Current license and practice permit from the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN).
• Experience: Minimum of 1 - 2 years post-NYSC experience in clinical medical imaging (hospital setting preferred).
• Skills: Proficiency in operating digital imaging equipment, strong attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills for patient care.
