Quality Control / Assurance Officer (polythene / Polymer) At Elizabeth Maddeux

Job Description

• We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control/Assurance Officer with practical experience in polythene/polymer manufacturing to ensure that raw materials, production processes, and finished products meet established quality standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
• Investigate quality issues and work with production teams to identify root causes.
• Ensure rejected or defective products are properly identified and controlled.
• Maintain accurate quality inspection records and prepare quality reports.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of quality control procedures.
• Ensure production activities comply with company quality standards and applicable industry requirements.
• Conduct routine inspections of production equipment and processes from a quality perspective.
• Participate in corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities.

Requirements

• Minimum of an OND / HND / B.Sc Degree in Polymer Science, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• 2 - 4 years of relevant QC/QA experience in polythene, polymer, nylon, plastic, packaging, or related manufacturing.
• Practical experience with polythene/polymer products is required.
• Good understanding of quality control procedures and manufacturing processes.
