Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Officer / Shift Quality Supervisor to oversee quality control activities across flexible packaging production processes.
The successful candidate will ensure that raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products meet established quality standards and customer specifications.
The ideal candidate must have practical experience in flexible packaging manufacturing, particularly in printing, lamination, slitting, pouch making, and laboratory testing.
The role also involves identifying production defects, implementing corrective actions, maintaining quality documentation, and ensuring compliance with approved procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications
B.Sc., HND, B.Tech., M.Sc., or a relevant diploma in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Polymer Technology, Packaging Technology, Printing Technology, or another related technical discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within the flexible packaging or packaging manufacturing industry.
Practical knowledge of printing, lamination, slitting, and pouch-making operations.
Experience in laboratory testing and quality inspection of flexible packaging materials.
Familiarity with NCR documentation, root cause analysis, CAPA, and customer quality requirements.
Knowledge of relevant packaging quality standards, SOPs, and process control procedures.
Good analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with production teams and manage quality activities during assigned shifts.
