Chemo-Pharma Laboratories Ltd is a pharmaceutical manufacturing company based in Lagos. We are seeking a dependable, well-organised Quality Assurance Manager.

Core Manufacturing Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Factory Systems

  • Line Clearance Oversight: Formulate and strictly enforce step-by-step line-clearance procedures across the weighing, mixing, tabletting/filling, and packaging sections to eliminate cross-contamination.
  • Document Control: Manage the lifecycle of all batch manufacturing records (BMRs), batch packaging records (BPRs), master formulas, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Validation & Engineering QA: Oversee the qualification and validation of production machinery, HVAC air handling units, and water purification systems (PW/WFI), ensuring zero microbial breaches.

Quality Control & Laboratory Operations

  • Material Testing: Supervise the wet chemistry and microbiology laboratories in sampling and verifying active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), excipients, and local packaging elements.
  • Stability Studies: Implement real-time and accelerated stability testing programs suited to Nigeria\'s climatic zones (Zone IVb - Hot and Humid) to determine accurate product expiry dates.
  • OOS Management: Directly lead investigations into Out-of-Specification (OOS) lab results, determining root causes through fishbone analysis or 5-Why methods.

Regulatory & Supply Chain Compliance

  • NAFDAC Interface: Serve as the chief technical point of contact during NAFDAC plant inspections, product registration assessments, and GMP recertifications.
  • Vendor Auditing: Vet local and international chemical suppliers, ensuring all imported raw materials arrive with valid Certificates of Analysis (CoA).

Technical Requirements

  • Equipment Proficiency: Hands-on familiarity with laboratory instruments like HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography), UV-Vis Spectrophotometers, dissolution testers, and microbial air samplers.
  • Local Environmental Awareness: Strong knowledge of how power instability and ambient humidity impact pharmaceutical storage and local factory settings.

  • Preferred- BSc / HND / B.Pharm, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Industrial chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering.
