Job Summary:

  • We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer who will play a central role in strengthening how quality is defined, measured, and delivered across our technology products.
  • This role goes beyond routine testing. The successful candidate will help shape and improve QA practices across the development lifecycle by establishing testing standards, introducing scalable testing frameworks, and ensuring product releases meet high standards of reliability, performance, and usability. The ideal candidate combines strong technical testing expertise with the ability to design effective QA processes and promote a culture of quality across engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute testing architecture, test cases, and scripts for web and software applications.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects through structured testing processes.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and system architects to ensure quality across the development lifecycle.
  • Conduct functional, regression, usability, and performance testing.
  • Ensure compliance with software quality standards and best practices.
  • Guide engineering teams on testability, reliability, and quality considerations during development.
  • Monitor product performance and recommend improvements.
  • Verify software readiness for production deployment.
  • Review QA processes regularly and recommend improvements.
  • Introduce metrics and reporting mechanisms to track product quality and testing effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3+ years' experience in software testing or quality assurance.
  • Experience designing testing frameworks or improving QA processes.
  • Familiarity with manual and automated testing tools and methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience testing APIs and backend systems (e.g., Postman, REST clients).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration.
  • Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
  • Basic scripting or programming knowledge preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with high attention to detail.
