Job Title: Quality and Assurance Control Officer
Location: Abuja (FCT) Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary
The Quality Assurance & Control Officer will monitor, test, and document product quality and food safety across our operations.
You will ensure that raw materials, production processes, packaging, and finished goods meet company standards and regulatory requirements (NAFDAC, SON).
Key Responsibilities
Inspect and test raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods against quality specifications.
Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards.
Conduct routine hygiene and sanitation inspections of production areas, equipment, and staff practices.
Maintain accurate quality records, including inspection reports, batch records, and non-conformance reports.
Investigate quality deviations and customer complaints, and recommend and track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Carry out supplier and incoming-goods quality checks.
Support NAFDAC, SON, and other regulatory inspections and audits.
Train production staff on quality, hygiene, and food safety practices.
Calibrate and maintain quality testing equipment.
Prepare periodic quality reports for management.
Qualifications and Requirements
B.Sc./HND in Food Science and Technology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Agricultural Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 3–4years’ experience in quality assurance/control in a food or beverage production environment.
Working knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000/FSSC 22000, and NAFDAC regulatory requirements.
Strong skills in documentation, report writing, and data recording.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
Excellent attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Good communication skills and the ability to work with production teams.
Added Advantage:
HACCP or Food Safety certification.
Experience with food production lines or agro-processing.
Membership of a relevant professional body.

Competitive monthly salary of N230,000 – N300,000, depending on experience and qualifications
