Job Overview

• A reputable motor dealership in Hillcrest is seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Vehicle Technician to join its workshop team.
• The successful candidate must be a trade-tested Motor Mechanic with strong practical servicing, mechanical repair and fault-finding abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform minor and major vehicle services.
• Carry out routine vehicle maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults.
• Inspect and test vehicle components.
• Perform general repairs and replacements.
• Complete job cards and workshop documentation.
• Ensure all work meets workshop quality standards.
• Maintain workshop safety and cleanliness.

Minimum Requirements

• Qualified, trade-tested Motor Mechanic.
• Minimum 3 - 5 years' practical automotive experience.
• Strong mechanical repair and servicing knowledge.
• Good diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
• Experience working with a variety of vehicle makes and models.
• Previous motor dealership workshop experience advantageous.
• High standards of workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's licence preferred.

Salary & Benefits

• R15,000 - R18,000 per month, negotiable depending on experience.
