Qualified Dealership Automotive Technician

Key responsibilities

• Perform vehicle servicing and routine maintenance.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately.
• Carry out repairs and component replacements according to manufacturer standards.
• Troubleshoot vehicle concerns and identify the root cause of faults.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and identify additional repair requirements.
• Use diagnostic equipment and workshop tools effectively.
• Complete job cards and technical documentation accurately.
• Maintain compliance with manufacturer technical and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment.
• Work effectively with the workshop team to meet deadlines and productivity targets.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent
• Valid Automotive Trade Certificate. (Red seal preferred)
• Minimum 3 years' post qualification experience as an Automotive Technician.
• Proven experience working on Chinese vehicle brands is essential.
• Valid Code 8 driver's license.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Good knowledge of vehicle servicing and repairs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and time-management skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship..

• Clear criminal record and sober habits
