About this Role
Conducting assessment and evaluating applications for recognition of prior learning; Evaluating, reporting, and initiating reviews of regulations, policies, guidelines, and tools on SEREQ; iii. Participating in the development of Standards, guidelines, and tools on assessment of national qualifications; iv. Developing and maintaining the Kenya Credit Accumulation and Transfer System (KCATs); v. Monitoring implementation of standards on national qualifications; vi. Developing standards, guidelines, procedures and tools for alignment and validation of qualifications; vii. Oversight of implementation of the standards and guidelines on alignment and Validation; viii. Managing panels established to develop and/or review various standards and guidelines on qualifications; ix. Documentation of qualification equivalences; x. Creating linkages to build public confidence in national qualifications; xi. Protect client data; and xii. Budgeting for and managing the activities of the department.
