Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced PVC Pipe Machine Operator to operate and monitor PVC pipe extrusion machines and ensure efficient production of quality PVC pipes according to required specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor PVC pipe extrusion machines during production.
• Set and adjust machine parameters, including temperature, pressure and speed.
• Feed PVC materials into the extrusion machine according to production requirements.
• Monitor the extrusion, cooling, sizing and cutting processes.
• Ensure pipes are produced according to required sizes, dimensions and quality standards.
• Inspect finished pipes for defects, proper sizing, thickness and overall quality.
• Perform basic machine adjustments and troubleshoot minor operational issues.
• Carry out routine cleaning and basic maintenance of machines and production equipment.
• Report machine faults, abnormal operation and production issues to the supervisor.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE/OND or relevant technical qualification.
• 2 - 5 years' hands-on experience operating PVC pipe extrusion machines.
• Experience in PVC pipe manufacturing/extrusion is required.
• Knowledge of PVC materials, extrusion processes and basic machine troubleshooting.
• Ability to monitor machine parameters and maintain consistent production output.
• Ability to identify basic machine faults and carry out minor adjustments.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a factory/production environment.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow production instructions.
