Job Summary

  • The Public Relations Officer will manage the Company's media relations, corporate communications and external reputation across its luxury retail brands and business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute PR and corporate communications plans.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media houses, journalists and influencers.
  • Prepare press releases, media statements and corporate announcements.
  • Coordinate media coverage for events, launches and brand activities.
  • Manage corporate messaging and external communications.
  • Support crisis and reputation-management initiatives.
  • Develop internal newsletters and employee communications.
  • Coordinate interviews, press briefings and media events.
  • Monitor media coverage and provide reputation reports.
  • Identify PR opportunities to strengthen brand visibility.
  • Ensure communications align with luxury brand standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field.
  • 8-15 years' PR/corporate communications experience.
  • Experience inluxury retail, fashion, lifestyle, hospitality or premium brandsis preferred.
  • Strong media relationships.
  • Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of brand reputation management.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

This may not be indispensable, but a successful candidate would be encouraged to ensure securing membership of these related professional bodies where at the point of employment they have yet to acquire the same. Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of working experience in marketing/sales or business development.
