Role Description The Project Quantity Surveyor is a full-time, on-site role based in Port Harcourt, responsible for managing costs and commercial aspects of engineering and construction projects. The role includes preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), supporting tender and bid documentation, and providing accurate cost estimates throughout project lifecycles. The Project Quantity Surveyor monitors project budgets, validates contractor and supplier claims, and prepares regular cost reports to support informed decision-making. Day-to-day tasks involve coordinating with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams, tracking variations, forecasting final accounts, and helping ensure projects are delivered within budget and in line with contractual obligations. The role also contributes to risk assessments, value engineering initiatives, and continuous improvement in cost management processes.
