What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it)Drive industrial ammonia refrigeration projects from handover through commissioning and close-out. You will build programmes, coordinate engineering, procurement, manufacturing and installation, and keep scope, milestones, budgets, quality and safety moving in the right direction. Spot risks early, manage variations and reporting, and bring suppliers, contractors, site teams and customers together to solve technical challenges and deliver with control.
Where you'll be doing itSwitch between technical discussions and hands-on delivery across industrial and agricultural sites. Base in the Western Cape, you will travel regularly throughout South Africa and into other African markets, gaining variety and direct involvement far beyond a fixed office routine.
What you'll needBring demonstrable industrial ammonia refrigeration experience, project delivery capability and a sound understanding of installations and commissioning. A relevant engineering, refrigeration, mechanical, technical or trade qualification is preferred, with project management training advantageous. You will also need commercial awareness, sharp planning and problem-solving skills, confidence with technical documentation, a valid driver's licence and flexibility to travel regularly.
What you'll getTake real ownership from handover to close-out, shaping technical, commercial and site decisions. You will work directly with customers, engineers, suppliers and contractors across African markets while building the experience to lead increasingly complex industrial refrigeration projects.
