To strengthen and expand the existing network of multimedia Nile Basin journalists and media organisations, widening ownership over the network to include more stakeholders and journalists in the region. To generate incentives for journalists and media houses to engage in more fact-based and constructive reporting on Nile Basin issues. Photography plays a pivotal role in storytelling and reporting, enhancing the quality and impact of journalistic work. Under the Everyday Nile project, photographers from across the Nile Basin document how people live with, depend on and relate to the Nile. For 2026–2027, MiCT is looking for a company or organisation to deliver a portable mini exhibition in Dar es Salaam, coordinate the 2026–2027 cycle of Everyday Nile, and produce a regional exhibition of the resulting work. Key Responsibilities: Portable Mini Exhibition, Dar es Salaam (25–27 November 2026) Curate and prepare a portable mini exhibition of Everyday Nile photography, in collaboration with the Project Coordinator and partners. Handle production of the exhibition, including printing, mounting, transport, set-up and dismantling. Coordinate the exhibition on site in Dar es Salaam from 25 to 27 November 2026. Everyday Nile 2026–2027: Call for Submissions Draft the call for submissions in agreement with MiCT and partners, and disseminate it through relevant networks across the Nile Basin. Manage incoming applications and shortlist candidates. Support the selection of 10 photographers from 10 Nile Basin countries, together with MiCT and partners. Everyday Nile 2026–2027: Webinar Series Design and deliver a webinar series of at least two webinars for the selected photographers. Provide facilitators and/or guest speakers, and handle hosting, moderation and documentation of each webinar. Participation costs for the workshop (participant travel, accommodation and related costs) will be borne by MiCT. The contractor is responsible for coordination, facilitation and programme management. Regional Exhibition Curate and produce a regional exhibition of the Everyday Nile 2026–2027 work, to be launched at a future event. Date and location to be confirmed. Following the launch, ensure the exhibition remains on display for one month in one of the Nile Basin countries, including installation, maintenance and dismantling.
