Job Summary
The company is growing its healthcare infrastructure and technical services business and is seeking an experienced Project Manager who can take ownership of projects from mobilisation through completion.
This is a hands-on role for someone who understands that effective project management goes beyond meetings and reportsit requires coordinating people, materials, information and timelines to ensure projects are delivered successfully.
Key Responsibilities
Manage projects from mobilisation through installation, commissioning and final handover.
Develop project schedules and ensure teams work towards agreed milestones.
Coordinate Engineers, Project Officers, installers, technicians, suppliers and subcontractors.
Track project progress, costs, materials and resources.
Work closely with Procurement and Logistics to ensure materials are available when required.
Identify project delays and risks early and take appropriate corrective action.
Keep clients and management informed of project progress, challenges and key developments.
Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
Coordinate testing, commissioning, snagging and final handover.
Maintain proper project documentation and ensure projects are properly closed out.
Manage multiple projects at different stages while maintaining control of key details.
Requirements
Degree/HND in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or a related field.
Proven experience managing technical, engineering, construction or healthcare projects.
Experience working with Engineers, technicians, contractors and clients.
Strong planning, communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to take ownership and make sound decisions when projects do not go according to plan.
Experience with MGPS, MEP, medical equipment or hospital infrastructure is an advantage.
Must be organised, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Availability to resume immediately will be an advantage.
