Job Description

  • We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to support the Senior Project Manager in coordinating projects, tracking deliverables, managing stakeholders, and ensuring timely project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project activities, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Liaise with contractors, consultants, vendors, and site teams to ensure timely follow-up and execution.
  • Maintain project trackers, risk/issue logs, documentation, and progress reports.
  • Attend project/site meetings, prepare minutes, and track action points to closure.
  • Support preparation/review of BOQs, cost estimates, measurement take-offs, payment certificates, and variation orders.
  • Support project reporting, documentation, procurement, and general project administration.

Requirements

  • B.Sc./B.Eng. in Civil, Mechanical/Structural Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
  • 5 - 10 years' experience in project coordination, project support, quantity surveying, construction, or related fields.
  • Candidates from architectural firms, QS/cost consultancy firms, structural engineering firms, construction, plant installation, or industrial/manufacturing projects are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience with manufacturing plants, factories, industrial facilities, or plant installation projects is highly advantageous.
  • Working knowledge of BOQs, measurement, valuations, payment certificates, and basic contract administration.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong coordination, communication, organisation, and follow-up skills.

Proven experience coordinating field teams and working directly with rural or community stakeholders. Familiarity with Nigeria's environment, forestry, Nigeria's National Determined Contributions and climate change policy context is an advantage. Excellent organisational, problem-solving and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including donor report writing.
