The candidate must possess a Ph.D. and must have been a Reader for at least two years, or applicants are qualified to apply as Professor after not less than 10 years’ teaching and research experience in a University.
Candidates must also possess at least 25 scholarly publications in high-impact journals, both locally and internationally, have experience in grantsmanship, demonstrate ability to initiate and direct new research efforts, and provide mentorship to junior academics, with considerable administrative experience and postgraduate supervision.
