Role Overview

  • Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a detail-oriented Production Clerk to support efficient and compliant processing operations through accurate production data capture, ERP transactions, inventory reconciliation, batch documentation, and routine reporting. The role ensures production information is accurate, traceable, and available for operational decision-making while supporting GMP, food safety, and audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Capture daily production, raw material, batch, inventory, downtime, and operational data accurately in the ERP system
  • Maintain complete and accurate batch records, production documentation, and traceability records
  • Reconcile raw material usage, production volumes, yields, losses, and product transfers
  • Maintain accurate tank status and production trackers and support daily and weekly production planning
  • Prepare routine production reports and highlight variances, discrepancies, and missing information
  • Work closely with Processing, Quality, Packaging, Warehouse, Maintenance, Procurement, and Finance teams to ensure accurate and timely production information

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Production Management, Statistics, Accounting, Food Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 1 year of experience in production administration, manufacturing documentation, inventory control, ERP data entry, or a related role
  • Experience in beverage, food, FMCG, or manufacturing operations is an added advantage
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and computer skills, with experience in ERP or manufacturing systems an added advantage
  • Strong numerical, reconciliation, documentation, and record-keeping skills
  • Good understanding of production records, inventory movement, and batch traceability
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, integrity, and accountability
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Optimize manpower utilization to keep cost per man-hour within budgeted levels. Continuous Improvement Projects Lead 5S projects. Lead TPM projects. Implement visual management (boards and floor marking for tracking kanban-wise input availability, progress, and creating PULL system). Customer Complaints Resolution & Quality Standards Conduct monthly Pareto analysis for topmost frequent customer complaints followed with RCA and preventive measures. Ensure final product meets quality standards and customer specifications. Recommend cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality standards. Come up with waste reduction methods and implement during production. Management & Reporting Daily reviews with Q.C, supervisors, and Kaizen coordinator. Update Goal sheets for Supervisors and operators; establish monthly reviews and adhere to review standards. Daily reporting to the Operations Manager / General Manager. Monthly System/Stock Count with Variance report to be submitted by 3rd of every month. Monthly Variance explanation report to be submitted by 8th of every month. Oversee update of Daily Production Report (OEE, Cost, Kg, etc.) by Production Clerk. Prepare Incident Reports (Breakdown/Injury/Machine Not Running/Under-performance Breakthrough discussion). Qualification and Experience Education Bachelor's Degree in Printing Engineering, Operations, or Business Administration. Master's in Business Administration is highly desirable. Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production management role, preferably in the printing industry. Technical Skills Proficiency in Six Sigma or Kaizen methodologies. Knowledge of OEE, TPM, and 5S principles. Strong understanding of production planning and scheduling. Experience with variance analysis and reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
