Growth Product Manager At Arm Hold Co.

ARM Hold Co.

Lagos, nigeria

full-time

Job Summary The Growth Product Manager will own adoption, usage and commercial growth across ARM's digital platforms, turning customer insight, behavioral data and commercial priorities into scalable improvements across acquisition, onboarding, activation, funding, repeat investment, retention, referral and measurable business growth. This is a hybrid growth-operator role rather than a purely marketing or purely product remit: it connects growth-hacking and rapid experimentation, hands-on ownership of the marketing technology (Martech) stack and lifecycle campaign orchestration, and disciplined product management into a single, measurable growth engine. The successful candidate will identify the highest-value friction points in the customer journey, build and priorities a measurable growth roadmap, and lead cross-functional squads to test, ship and scale solutions that increase active investors and assets under management while maintaining customer trust, regulatory compliance and healthy unit economics. Job Details Growth Strategy and Roadmap Define the product-led growth strategy for ARM's digital wealth platforms, aligned with enterprise priorities, target customer segments and commercial objectives. Translate growth goals into clear product outcomes, quarterly OKRs, initiatives and sequenced roadmaps. Develop a robust understanding of customer needs, barriers to investing, channel behaviours, competitor propositions and market trends. Prioritize opportunities using expected customer value, impact on assets under management, revenue potential, delivery effort, risk and strategic fit. Balance near-term funnel improvements with longer-term investments in scalable growth loops, platform capabilities and customer lifetime value. Funnel Optimization and Experimentation Apply growth-hacking methods; rapid, structured experiments, referral loops, and landing-page/conversion-rate optimization to unlock quick wins alongside the core roadmap. Own the end-to-end growth funnel and identify conversion leaks through quantitative analysis, customer research, service data and frontline feedback. Improve registration, identity verification, risk profiling, bank-account verification, funding and first-investment journeys to reduce avoidable abandonment. Design and run well-governed experiments, including A/B tests, pilots and cohort-based tests, with clear hypotheses, success criteria, guardrails and post-test decisions. Optimize time-to-value so new customers quickly experience the benefit of investing through ARM. Build repeatable growth loops such as referrals, recurring investments, goal-based investing, cross-sell, reactivation and content-to-investment journeys. Ensure experiments do not create misleading claims, unsuitable nudges, dark patterns or unacceptable customer, operational or regulatory risk. Customer Acquisition, Activation and Lifecycle Growth Partner with Marketing, Sales and Partnerships to connect acquisition campaigns to seamless, measurable in-product journeys. Improve channel quality and conversion by aligning audience, proposition, landing experience, onboarding and next best offers. Develop lifecycle strategies for activation, education, repeat business, cross selling, engagement, maturity or redemption events, dormancy prevention and win-back. Use segmentation and personalization responsibly to deliver relevant prompts, educational content and financial planning pathways. Support partner and embedded distribution propositions by defining customer experience, product requirements, economics and operating model. Martech, Campaigns and Lifecycle Orchestration Own the Martech stack for growth CRM, marketing automation, campaign management and messaging tool partnering with Data/IT and Marketing on configuration, integration and vendor management. Design and orchestrate always-on and triggered lifecycle campaigns across push, email, SMS/WhatsApp and in-app messaging, sequencing content and offers to each stage of the customer journey: awareness, sign-up, KYC, first funding, first investment, repeat business, cross selling and win-back. Build and maintain customer segmentation and behavioural triggers or live events (e.g. onboarding drop-off, low first funding, dormancy risk) that drive automated, personalized lifecycle journeys rather than one-off blasts. Ensure accurate campaign attribution and channel-performance measurement, working with Data and Engineering to connect Martech tooling into the core analytics and event-tracking stack. Continuously test and refine messaging, timing, channel mix, creative and offers to improve activation, engagement, repeat investment and reactivation outcomes. Data, Insights and Performance Management Define the growth measurement framework, including the north-star metric, leading indicators, funnel definitions and metric ownership. Work with Data and Engineering to ensure reliable event tracking, attribution, cohorting, dashboards and experiment measurement. Apply behavioural analytics cohort analysis, event-level tracking, behavioural segmentation, activation-metric design, churn-signal detection and retention-curve analysis to understand how customers actually move through the product, not just where they drop off. Monitor performance by segment, product, platform, channel and cohort; distinguish sustainable growth from short-term volume. Build business cases and forecasts for growth initiatives, including expected incremental funded accounts, net flows, revenue, cost and payback. Communicate results, lessons, risks and recommended decisions clearly to senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders. Product Delivery and Cross-functional Leadership Lead a cross-functional growth squad comprising Engineering, Design, Data, Marketing and Operations partners. Turn opportunities into clear product briefs, user stories, acceptance criteria, analytics requirements and launch plans. Maintain a prioritized backlog and make transparent trade-offs based on evidence, capacity, value, dependencies and risk. Partner with Design and Research to create simple, accessible and trustworthy experiences for customers with different levels of financial literacy. Coordinate releases, operational readiness, customer communication, support playbooks and post-launch monitoring. Remove delivery blockers, manage dependencies and create a strong cadence for discovery, experimentation, delivery and learning. Risk, Compliance and Customer Trust Partner early with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Information Security, Data Privacy, Internal Control and Operations throughout discovery and delivery. Ensure journeys and communications comply with applicable capital-market requirements, KYC, AML/CFT/CPF, data-protection, and internal governance standards. Protect suitability, transparency and informed customer choice; ensure fees, risks, returns and product terms are presented clearly. Define and monitor guardrail metrics covering complaints, failed transactions, fraud, reversals, operational incidents, suitability concerns and customer harm. Maintain appropriate documentation, approvals, experiment records and audit trails Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics or a related discipline; a relevant postgraduate qualification is advantageous. Typically, 5 - 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years owning digital products or growth outcomes in fintech, investments, wealth management, banking, payments, e-commerce or another high-volume digital business. Demonstrated success improving measurable outcomes across acquisition, activation, retention, monetization or referral funnels. Hands-on experience with product discovery, roadmapping, agile delivery, experimentation and lifecycle optimization. Strong analytical capability, including funnel analysis, cohorts, segmentation, experiment design, unit economics and business-case development. Experience working with product/behavioural analytics tools (e.g. Mixpanel, Amplitude or GA4), business-intelligence and experimentation platforms, and hands-on ownership of a CRM or marketing-automation/martech platform (e.g. Braze, CleverTap, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or HubSpot) for lifecycle campaign orchestration; working knowledge of SQL is strongly preferred. Practical experience designing and running behavioural-segmentation and lifecycle-messaging programmes (push, email, SMS/WhatsApp, in-app) across acquisition, activation, retention and win-back journeys. Sound understanding of digital financial-services operations, customer onboarding, payments, identity verification and regulated product delivery. Experience in Assets management will be an added advantage. Experience influencing senior stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams without relying solely on formal authority.

Senior Product Designer At Sun King (formerly Greenlight Planet)

Sun King (Formerly Greenlight Planet)

Lagos, nigeria

full-time

About the role: The Senior Product Designer (UX Designer), based in Nairobi or Lagos. You will report to the Head of Product, Enterprise Products. You will own the experience of the products our customers, field agents and our staff teams use every day. That covers the apps our Energy Officers use to sell, onboard and service customers. It also covers the products our customers use to buy, pay for and manage their energy. It covers the tools our staff uses to manage the inventory, sales, collections, incentives, etc every day. And it covers the design system that holds all of it. The people you design for are not like you. Many are first-time smartphone users. They work outdoors, on low-end Android devices, on patchy networks, often in their second or third language. A design succeeds here when an agent can close a sale in a village at the end of a long day. It is not judged by how the screen looks in a portfolio. We also want an AI-first approach to design. You reach for AI to explore concepts, generate variants and pressure-test copy. You prototype before writing a specification. You ask "can AI do this better" first, not as an afterthought. This role covers design end to end. Research, flows, interaction design, visual design, prototyping and handoff. We expect all of it done the AI-first way: faster, sharper, and built to scale. What you would be expected to do: Research with the people who actually use our products Spend time in the field with Energy Officers, customers and operations teams. Watch them work. Do not rely on second-hand reports. Run usability tests, contextual interviews and concept tests in market. Turn what you learn into choice the team acts on, not decks that get filed away. Flows and interaction design Design the end-to-end journeys behind sales, onboarding, collections, servicing and assist. Map the offline steps as well as the on-screen ones. Most of our journeys start on paper or in conversation. Simplify flows that have grown complicated over years of feature additions. Visual design and craft Take work from rough concept to production-ready screens. Hold a high bar on typography, spacing, ranking and legibility in bright sunlight on small screens. Make the interface teachable. A new agent should be productive on day one. Design for real constraints Design for low-end Android devices, small screens and limited storage. Design for intermittent flow. Offline states, sync and failure recovery are part of the design, not an engineering afterthought. Design for low digital literacy and for multiple languages. Assume text will be longer once translated. The design system Own our collective component library and design standards. Keep it in step with what engineering actually ships. A system nobody uses is worse than none. Document patterns so other designers and engineers can apply them without asking you. Prototype before spec Build clickable prototypes to answer open questions early. Use AI tools to generate variants, draft copy and explore directions quickly. Put prototypes in front of real users and change your mind when they tell you to. Handoff and working with engineering Produce handoff-ready files, specs and states that engineers can build from without guesswork. Cover the unglamorous cases: empty states, errors, loading, long names, missing data, poor network. Review builds before release and hold the bar on implementation quality. Measure whether the design worked Define what success looks like before the design ships: task completion, time on task, error and drop-off rates. Work with product and data teams to read adoption and funnel data after release. Go back and fix what the data says is not working. Team Work Work closely with product managers, engineers and market operations teams through the full product lifecycle. Bring evidence to design debates. Be willing to be overruled, and be willing to argue your case. Keep stakeholders informed at every stage. Travel Travel as required to Sun King markets, including Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, Tanzania and Myanmar, with regular field visits to agents and customers. You might be a strong candidate if you have/are: Background and approach A portfolio of shipped product work (mandatory). We want two or three cases in depth: the problem, what you tried, what you did, and what happened after launch. 5 - 7 years designing digital products, with meaningful time on mobile. Experience designing for users who are not like you, ideally in emerging markets, field operations, fintech or last-mile distribution. Able to structure and evaluate ambiguous problems. Clear communication in writing. You will explain design choice to people who are not designers. A proactive attitude and willingness to get hands-on. We are small and you will do your own research, design and testing. A formal design degree is welcome but not required. The portfolio matters more. Language Professional working proficiency in English (mandatory). You will work with colleagues and stakeholders across our markets in Africa and Asia. A local market language such as Swahili, French, Hausa, Yoruba or Luganda is a strong plus for field research. Essential skills Expert in Figma, including components, variables, auto layout and prototyping. Hands-on experience building or maintaining a design system. Practical research skills: usability testing, contextual inquiry and field interviews, run by you rather than outsourced. Android design conventions and Material Design, applied with judgement rather than by default. Accessibility and legibility fundamentals: contrast, touch targets, text scaling, and patterns that work for low-literacy users. Enough data literacy to read a funnel, an adoption chart or an A/B test result and act on it. Comfortable using AI tools in your design workflow, for concepts, copy, research synthesis and prototypes. Good to have Experience designing offline-first or intermittently integrated applications. Front-end familiarity (HTML, CSS, or React) enough to talk to engineers about what is expensive to build. Motion design or illustration. Service design experience covering journeys that cross online and offline steps. Exposure to pay-as-you-go, asset finance, microfinance or emerging-market lending. Hands-on experience with SQL.
