Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Officer to manage the sourcing, purchasing, and supply of goods and services for our organization in Abuja.
The ideal candidate will ensure timely procurement at the best value while maintaining good supplier relationships and proper documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Source and evaluate suppliers for quality, price, and reliability
Request quotations, compare bids, and negotiate prices and terms
Prepare and issue purchase orders and track deliveries
Maintain accurate procurement records and files
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with inventory and warehouse teams
Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures
Liaise with vendors and resolve issues relating to delivery, quality, and payment
Prepare regular procurement reports for management
Requirements
B.Sc / HND in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
2-3 years experience in procurement or related role
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Good knowledge of procurement processes and Nigerian market
Excellent communication, organization, and record-keeping skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Salary N250,000 per month.
