Job Summary
We’re looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to manage sourcing and purchasing for our manufacturing operations, covering raw materials, technical components and factory machinery.
The role involves
Developing sourcing strategies and negotiating supplier contracts.
Working with Production and Planning to ensure materials arrive when required.
Managing supplier quality, delivery performance, lead times and supply risks.
Controlling purchasing costs and maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
Coordinating local and international purchases through factory delivery.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations or Business Administration.
At least 5 years’ sourcing experience within a manufacturing, factory or heavy industrial environment.
Strong supplier negotiation, cost analysis and procurement management skills.
Practical experience using ERP/MRP systems and advanced Excel.
Ability to interpret bills of materials, technical specifications and drawings, and assess total cost of ownership.
Knowledge of international freight, Incoterms and import processes.
Salary N900,000 - N1,000,000 monthly.
