Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Intern with an Accounting background to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with procurement activities, including sourcing suppliers and obtaining quotations.
Support purchase order preparation and documentation.
Maintain accurate procurement, inventory, and financial records.
Assist in comparing supplier prices and monitoring procurement costs.
Support invoice verification and reconciliation of procurement transactions.
Work with the Accounting, Procurement, and other relevant departments to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements
A background in Accounting, Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
Must have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme or be currently seeking a suitable organisation for NYSC placement.
Good numerical, analytical, and record-keeping skills.
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other basic office applications is an added advantage.
Salary N100,000 - N150,000 per month.
