Job Title: PPIC & Supply Chain Planning Manager
Location: Calabar, Cross River
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven PPIC & Supply Chain Planning Manager to lead production planning, materials requirements planning (MRP), inventory control, and supply chain coordination within a manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will ensure production schedules align with business demand, materials are available when needed, and inventory is efficiently managed to support uninterrupted operations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and monitor production plans and manufacturing schedules.
Manage material requirements planning (MRP) and coordinate with Procurement on material availability.
Optimise inventory levels and minimise stock-outs, wastage, and excess stock.
Coordinate demand, supply, production capacity, and procurement planning.
Collaborate with Production, Warehouse, Technical, QA/QC, Finance, and Commercial teams.
Monitor supply chain risks, production performance, and inventory accuracy.
Utilise ERP/MRP systems and data analytics for planning and reporting.
Ensure compliance with applicable pharmaceutical GMP requirements.
Prepare management reports and drive continuous process improvement.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
Experience in pharmaceutical, FMCG, chemical, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
Strong knowledge of production planning, MRP, inventory management, demand forecasting, and capacity planning.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Odoo.
Strong analytical, leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical GMP and FEFO inventory principles is an advantage.
