Key Responsibilities
Receive incoming coffee consignments and verify quantities against delivery documents
Count and tally coffee bags/packages received, ensuring accuracy
Record all received coffee in tally sheets, registers, or warehouse systems
Verify bag numbers, lot/stock references, supplier details, and documentation
Check physical condition of coffee bags; report shortages, damages, or irregularities
Reconcile physical quantities received against delivery notes and warehouse instructions
Ensure receiving documentation is completed, signed, and filed properly
Coordinate with warehouse staff, drivers, suppliers, and supervisors during receiving
Maintain accurate records of daily receipts and submit reports as required
Assist with stock counts and periodic inventory reconciliations
Ensure received coffee is properly identified, segregated, and positioned
Comply with warehouse safety, security, quality, and foodhandling procedures
Maintain confidentiality and integrity of stock and receiving recordsQualifications & Experience
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma/Certificate in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
Previous experience as a Tally Clerk, (adsbygoogle=window.adsbygoogle||[]).push({});Warehouse Clerk, Receiving Clerk, or Storekeeper is an advantage
Experience handling agricultural commodities (coffee, grain, bulk products) preferred
Basic computer literacy, especially MS Excel and warehouse systems
Good numerical and recordkeeping skills
Ability to work accurately under pressure and for extended periodsExperience
