Requirements & Qualifications

For appointment to this grade, an applicant MUST have: -

• KCSE Mean Grade of D+(Plus) or its equivalent
• Plant Mechanic National Trade Test Certificate Grade III with proven practical experience of three years as Plant Mechanic III.

Or

• Relevant Preliminary Level Apprentice Certificate awarded by the Directorate of industrial Training with a proven practical experience of three years as plant mechanic III

Or

• Relevant preliminary level certificate awarded by the Kenya Institute of Highway and Building Technology (KIHBIT) with proven practical experience of three years as plant Mechanic III
• A valid driving license.
