Main responsibilities (not exhaustive):

  • Recording and reporting adverse reactions received from healthcare professionals, company representatives and patients.
  • Conducting in-depth interviews with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of pharmacovigilance reports in line with NAFDAC requirements.
  • Flagging up early warning signs of adverse effects of drugs.
  • Setting up and reviewing processes and training.
  • Maintain accurate pharmacovigilance records and safety databases.
  • Prepare and review pharmacovigilance reports and safety documentation.
  • Contributing to research.
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals and relevant stakeholders on drug safety matters.

Professional requirements (minimum):

  • B.Pharm/Pharm.D
  • Must have completed NYSC.
  • Good understanding of pharmacovigilance principles, adverse drug reaction (ADR) reporting, and drug safety monitoring.

Language required (minimum):

  • English Language

Software knowledge required (minimum):

  • Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides
  • OR its equivalents (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint etc.)
