Petroleum Social Development Analyst Ii - 3 Posts At Public Service Commission Kenya (psck)

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in any of the following disciplines: Sociology, Community Development, Social Work, Anthropology, Development Studies, Public Administration, Political Science, Communication, Monitoring & Evaluation, Sociology & Economics, Project Management, Gender & Development Studies or Public Policy & Administration from a university recognized in Kenya.

Duties and Responsibilities

This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities will include:-

• participating in monitoring and evaluation of social development programs;
• promotion of collaboration among communities, contractors, and stakeholders;
• participating in the development of mechanisms for grievance and dispute resolution;
• participating in social performance audits of community development projects;
• participating in promotion of public awareness and sensitization on petroleum impacts; and
• participating in the preparation of feedback mechanisms on matters social development in petroleum operations.
