About Nexply Compliance

Nexply Compliance is a compliance company that gets fintechs, payment companies and digital asset businesses licensed, then keeps them compliant. We are a licensed Data Protection Compliance Organisation (DPCO) with the NDPC. We work with founders and leadership teams across Nigeria and other markets on licensing, AML/CFT, data protection, tax and ongoing regulatory compliance.

About the Role

Our CEO moves fast and has a lot on her plate. She runs client relationships, regulator engagements, team priorities and several projects at the same time. We are looking for a Personal Assistant who can keep her organised, cut through the noise, follow up on everything and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

You will work closely with her every day. You will handle her schedule, communications, documents and priorities, and you will often see sensitive client, company and personal information. This role needs someone who is sharp, calm under pressure, highly organised and completely discreet.

What You Will Do

Schedule and time management

• Manage her calendar, meetings, calls and appointments, and protect her time for priority work

• Plan and confirm meetings with clients, partners, regulators and the internal team

• Prepare her daily and weekly schedule and brief her on what is coming up

• Handle travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, visas and itineraries

Organisation and follow-up

• Track her tasks, deadlines and commitments and follow up until they are done

• Take notes in meetings, capture action points and make sure the right people follow through

• Help her break down goals into clear next steps and keep track of progress

• Flag anything that is slipping early, before it becomes a problem

Communication and documents

• Manage her email inbox, sort what is urgent and draft replies for her review

• Prepare letters, memos, presentations and meeting documents

• Organise and maintain her files, both digital and physical, so anything she needs can be found quickly

• Act as a point of contact between the CEO, the team, clients and partners

Personal and office support

• Handle personal errands and appointments when needed

• Support event planning, client visits and office logistics

• Manage expense records, receipts and basic reconciliations

Confidentiality and Discretion

This role comes with access to confidential information about our clients, the company and the CEO personally. You will be expected to:

• Keep all client, company and personal information strictly private, during and after your employment

• Follow our data protection and information security practices at all times

• Sign a non-disclosure agreement

• Use good judgement about what to share, with whom and when

If you talk about your work outside the office or share details on social media, this role is not for you.

What You Need

• 2 to 4 years of experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, Office Administrator or similar role

• Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage many tasks and deadlines at once

• Proven discretion and integrity in handling confidential information

• Excellent written and spoken English

• Comfort with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, calendars, email and basic document tools

• Ability to stay calm, work fast and keep up with a busy, fast-moving CEO

• Proactive attitude. You see what needs doing and do it without waiting to be told

• Flexibility to support occasional early mornings, late evenings or travel when needed

• Bachelor's degree or HND in any field

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting a founder or CEO at a startup, fintech or professional services firm

• Familiarity with legal, compliance or financial services work

• Experience with project tracking tools such as Notion, Trello or Asana

• Experience planning international travel

Why Join Us

• Work directly with the CEO and see how a growing compliance company is run

• Exposure to fintech, regulatory and business work across Nigeria and other markets

• A small team where your work is seen and valued

• Room to grow into a Chief of Staff or operations role over time
